Hello!

I'm Andree Wallace
a Los Angeles based Product Designer

Welcome to the page that is all about me!

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

A QUICK INTRO

I was born in Baltimore, Maryland but consider myself a world traveler. I say that because I come from a military family and have lived in countries like Panama and South Korea.

An academic and eternally motivated, I attended and graduated from Wake Forest University in 2014.

After getting my very expensive piece of paper, I moved to Los Angeles, California. During my time in the workforce, I have worked in industries of television production, journalism, and marketing.

SO WHEN DOES DESIGN COME INTO THIS STORY??

I've always been someone that is both analytical and creative. Having spent years studying and creating films, I like looking at something and finding creative ways to tell a compelling story from start to finish. My love for marketing led me to the Ecommerce space and during my time as an Analyst, I gained an understanding of the importance of creating great experiences for customers throughout the entire product life cycle.

And while my analytical side grew during the past few years, I felt like I needed to transition into a career that combined both of my passions.

I decided to enroll in a UI/UX course that spanned 9 months. During that time, I gained a fantastic base in areas like information architecture, wireframing, design thinking, UI design, and mobile design.

WHERE AM I NOW?

As I transition into a new career as Product Designer, I am incredibly motivated to bring all of my previous experience into whichever company or project I work for next. With my previous work experience combined with my natural curiosity, I feel like I can become a valuable asset to anyone's team.

Oh and before I forget, one of the quickest ways to get to know me is to talk tennis. From Roger Federer to Serena Williams, tennis is constantly being watched and read about in my apartment.
